Job Description:
Café Raymond is seeking full-time and part-time line cooks to join our fast-paced, from-scratch kitchen located in Pittsburgh’s vibrant Strip District. We are a locally owned café with a strong dine-in and catering presence, and we are actively growing and expanding across the city and beyond.
We prepare everything in-house, from breads to dressings, and we are looking for cooks who are passionate about quality food, teamwork, and consistency.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to Café Raymond’s recipes and quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation
- Work efficiently under pressure and handle high-volume service periods
- Follow proper food safety and sanitation practices
- Support catering prep and service as needed
Schedule:
- Weekdays: 7:30 AM – approximately 3:00 PM
- Weekends: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Compensation:
- $19.00/hour
- Plus shared cash tips and credit card tips
Requirements:
- Prior kitchen or line cook experience preferred, but open to motivated candidates willing to learn
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Positive attitude and passion for hospitality
